Role:

Fine Line Restoration Inc. dba Rainbow Restoration of Shoreview is looking for a skilled Water and Fire Mitigation Technician to join our team in New Brighton, MN! This is a hands-on role where you'll make a real difference by helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and other property damage. Responsibilities:

Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation services on residential and commercial properties Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters Conduct moisture readings and document damage assessments throughout the mitigation process Perform controlled demolition including removal of damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation Communicate professionally with property owners and insurance adjusters on job progress Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and company vehicles Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend dispatch as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience in water/fire mitigation, restoration, or a related trade preferred IICRC certification (WRT, ASD) is a plus but not required — willingness to obtain is expected Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude Ability to be on-call and respond to emergency situations in a timely manner
