Rainbow Restoration of Jefferson City is seeking a dependable, hardworking Restoration Crew Member to assist with water mitigation, structural drying, demolition, and cleanup services for residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, and mold damage. This is a hands-on field position for someone who works well as part of a team, follows instructions, and takes pride in helping customers recover after unexpected property damage. Responsibilities Assist with water extraction and emergency water-mitigation services Set up, monitor, move, and remove air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment Take moisture readings and help document drying progress Remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets, trim, and other building materials Assist with containment setup and controlled demolition Clean and deodorize areas affected by water, smoke, soot, and mold Move, protect, inventory, and clean customers' belongings Load, unload, clean, and maintain company equipment and vehicles Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Take photographs and complete basic job documentation as directed Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions Communicate respectfully with customers, coworkers, and project managers Participate in an after-hours and weekend emergency-response rotation as scheduled with bonus opportunities Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and ready to work Able to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew Comfortable working in damaged, wet, dirty, or confined environments Willing to wear required personal protective equipment, including a respirator when necessary Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and move heavier materials with assistance Able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work for extended periods Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and emergency-response hours Ability to pass any background checks required for customer or job-site access Previous experience in restoration, water mitigation, demolition, construction, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field is preferred. IICRC certification is a plus but is not required.
