Ackerman, Mississippi (Onsite) Role OverviewThis position provides basic field support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. The Field Technician is responsible for the safe inspection, operation, and monitoring of coal handling systems. This role supports plant operations by collecting and preparing fuel samples, maintaining accurate documentation, and operating associated equipment while adhering to all safety and environmental procedures. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide basic field support for installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.



Conduct safe inspection, operation, and monitoring of coal handling systems, including conveyors and fuel transfer lines.



Support plant operations by collecting and preparing fuel samples.



Maintain accurate documentation of operational findings.



Operate Limestone Drying Process Equipment.



Assist with routine maintenance activities.



Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.



Report any equipment abnormalities found during tasks.



Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.

Required QualificationsEducation:

Technical Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

0-3 years of experience in a related field.

Technical Skills:

A basic understanding of industrial equipment and system operations is required. Work EnvironmentThe role requires frequent standing, walking throughout the plant site, and sitting for office work. Physical demands include occasionally lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds and exerting up to 50 pounds of force. Full mobility of hands, arms, and legs is necessary. The position involves occasional climbing of stairs and ladders, as well as frequent climbing of steps into and out of heavy equipment.
