About the Role As a Field Service Specialist, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for the commissioning, optimization, and maintenance of complex commercial HVAC and chiller systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and energy efficiency for our clients by providing high-level diagnostic support and technical solutions in a dynamic, travel-based environment. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive equipment start-ups and commissioning to ensure systems operate at peak performance. Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on electrical components, refrigerant circuits, and mechanical assemblies. Conduct proactive preventive maintenance to extend the lifecycle and reliability of critical HVAC infrastructure. Validate the integrity of control systems and safety protocols to maintain regulatory compliance. Collaborate with project teams to resolve complex post-installation technical challenges. Maintain precise documentation of service activities, system adjustments, and diagnostic findings. Educate clients on system performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for efficiency improvements. Stay at the forefront of industry technology through continuous training on diagnostic tools and energy-saving practices. Required Skills 4+ years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service or maintenance. Advanced proficiency in the refrigeration cycle and complex electrical wiring schematics. Current EPA Type 1 & 2 Refrigerant Certification. Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on technical accuracy. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical data to diverse stakeholders. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Preferred Skills Prior experience in large-scale equipment installation or process cooling. Advanced certifications in building automation or control systems. Proven ability to manage complex service projects independently in remote environments.
