Travel to customer sites as needed. Travel, including overnight travel, could be required up to 50% of the time.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues both in person and over the phone.
Assist installers as they work to install our products in the field.
Conduct field inspections of systems and develop reports for the customer.
Provide quotes for parts and process orders as needed.
Fulfill warranty claims and RMA requests using discretion to determine the most appropriate solution.
Assist the Sales team to identify the most appropriate technical equipment for customers and ensure the accuracy of submittal information.
Work with engineering to achieve product issue resolution and/or improvement.
Provide a superior level of service to our customers, both in person and over the phone.
What We're Looking For:
One to three years performing electrical and mechanical maintenance or a degree in a mechanical or electrical field required.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks with moderate supervision.
Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office, contact mgmt. software and design/drafting software.
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors, lifting and carrying weights of up to 75 lbs.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel up to 50% of the time.
Prior experience with gate operators and access control systems preferred.
