$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience Full-Time About Triple A Pro Services Triple A Pro Services has proudly served the Dayton-Cincinnati region for more than 70 years. As a locally owned and operated company, we provide residential, commercial, and industrial wastewater and excavation services. Our team handles septic systems, excavation, industrial vacuum services, jetting, aeration systems, hydro excavation, and other specialized services. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work and want an opportunity to grow with an established company. Position Overview We are seeking an Excavation & Septic Service Technician to join our field operations team. This is a hands-on position involving excavation, septic systems, sewer and drain lines, equipment operation, and general field service. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, operating equipment, performing physical work, troubleshooting problems, and communicating professionally with customers. Responsibilities Perform residential, commercial, and industrial field service work. Assist with septic system repairs, replacements, and installations. Dig trenches and excavate areas necessary to access sewer, septic, and drain lines. Operate excavators, skid steers, vacuum equipment, hydro-jetting equipment, and other company equipment when properly trained and authorized. Repair and replace damaged sewer and drain lines. Assist with industrial vacuum, jetter, hydro excavation, and related service work. Diagnose field issues and help determine the appropriate repair or service. Use hand and power tools to safely complete assigned work. Perform basic inspections and recognize potential mechanical or equipment problems. Maintain company equipment, tools, trucks, and job sites. Complete required job documentation and records using a company-provided tablet. Communicate professionally with customers regarding work being performed. Educate customers on septic system maintenance and preventive care when appropriate. Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements. Work closely with drivers, operators, technicians, dispatchers, and management to complete jobs efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site. Perform additional duties as needed to support daily operations. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. 1-2+ years of construction, excavation, septic, plumbing, utility, or similar field experience preferred. Experience operating excavation or construction equipment is preferred. Familiarity with septic systems, sewer lines, drain lines, or wastewater services is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Comfortable using tablets, email, scheduling software, and electronic work orders. Ability to troubleshoot problems and follow instructions. Willingness to learn new equipment, services, and procedures. Dependable attendance and ability to report to work on time. Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening upon hire. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on field position.
Applicants must be able to:
Work on their feet for up to 80% of the workday. Frequently walk and move throughout job sites, shops, and work areas. Regularly lift, push, pull, and move equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Lift and maneuver septic tank, pump truck, and grease trap lids when required. Use hand and power tools for extended periods. Work outdoors in varying weather and job-site conditions. Safely enter and work around excavation and construction areas. Perform bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and other physical activities associated with field service and excavation work. Schedule This is a full-time position. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule when business needs require it, including: Monday-Friday regular operations Saturday rotations Occasional evenings On-call or emergency service when scheduled
