Restoration Technician Power Dry - Lewis Center, OH Full-Time | $18.00-$23.00 per hour Turn Chaos into Calm - Join Our Rapidly Growing Team Founded in 1988, Power Dry is a leader in emergency water and mold removal services. Compensation & Benefits Pay:

This is a hands-on, physical role that may include water extraction, setting up professional drying equipment, removing damaged materials, cleaning, demolition, and working in areas such as attics and crawlspaces.
Responsibilities include:
Perform water extraction and removal of water-damaged materials Set up, monitor, and remove professional drying equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers Perform light demolition of affected drywall, carpet, padding, flooring, and other building materials Move and protect furniture and household belongings as needed Apply antimicrobial and cleaning products according to established procedures Assist with demolition, remediation, cleaning, packing, and moving Perform carpet cleaning as needed Maintain, clean, and properly care for company equipment Keep job sites clean, organized, professional, and safe Complete required job documentation, timecards, vehicle records, and other paperwork accurately and on time Follow established emergency service, production, and safety procedures Communicate professionally with customers and team members Perform other restoration-related duties as assigned by the Mitigation Manager What We're Looking For You don't need previous restoration experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, comfortable with physical work, and willing to learn. Experience in construction, demolition, landscaping, moving, warehouse work, maintenance, installation, or another hands-on/labor-intensive environment can translate well to this position. Qualifications Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to and from work High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Restoration, mitigation, or construction experience is a plus, but not required IICRC certifications are a plus, but not required Ability to safely perform physical work in a construction/restoration environment Ability to routinely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in confined or challenging areas, including crawlspaces and attics Comfortable using or learning to use hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Ability to accurately document work performed Strong listening skills and a positive attitude Dependable, punctual, and reliable Must successfully complete required pre-employment background check and drug screening Schedule & On-Call Requirements This is not a traditional Monday-Friday, 9-to-5 position. Power Dry provides emergency restoration services, which means our customers may need us outside of normal business hours. Restoration Technicians must be willing to: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule Work occasional evenings and after-hours emergency calls Work weekends as part of the rotation Work overtime and some holidays as needed Flexibility and reliability are important parts of being successful in this role.
