Job Description

Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot NOV products. Conduct field installations, system calibrations, and operational testing of equipment. Perform software and hardware upgrades while ensuring systems are operating efficiently. Train customers on the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and functionality of NOV equipment. Accurately complete and submit field service reports, inspection records, and other required documentation in a timely manner. Communicate equipment failures, customer feedback, and field observations to the appropriate internal teams. Provide technical support while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. Adhere to all NOV HSE policies, procedures, and quality standards. High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent education preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of related field service or oil and gas industry experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Knowledge of oil and gas field equipment, including software and hardware systems. Pneumatic and hydraulic experience preferred. Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and support fellow technicians. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required. Ability to travel extensively to customer locations as required. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software-related issues in the field. Assist with equipment commissioning, startup, and performance verification. Support other Field Service Technicians during complex installations and service projects. Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and assisting less experienced technicians when needed. Maintain service tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition. Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to customer service requests as required. Successfully pass a national background check and motor vehicle report. Perform other duties as assigned.
