As our projects continue to grow nationwide, we are seeking dependable IT Technicians to support installations involving smart infrastructure, industrial sensors, and network-connected devices. Position Overview Install IoT is seeking reliable and professional IT Field Technicians to perform residential installations of medical communication modems for patients in the Medford, Oregon area. These devices provide critical connectivity for healthcare monitoring systems, making attention to detail and excellent customer service essential. This is an ideal opportunity for technicians with experience in IT support, networking, cable installation, or telecommunications who enjoy working independently and interacting with customers. This is a contract opportunity , with the possibility of recurring work. Key Responsibilities Install and activate medical communication modems in residential homes. Connect devices to existing internet or cellular networks as required. Verify modem functionality and ensure successful communication with the monitoring platform. Perform basic network troubleshooting when necessary. Educate patients on basic modem operation (no medical instruction required). Document installation with photos and completion notes using a mobile app. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service. Follow all company safety and privacy procedures. Required Skills & Experience Experience with IT, networking, telecommunications, cable, or low-voltage installations. Comfortable configuring routers, modems, and Wi-Fi networks. Ability to troubleshoot basic internet connectivity issues. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Smartphone capable of running field service applications. Experience performing residential service calls. Ability to pass a background check.
