Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water Technician / Laborer to join our team. This position plays a vital role in assisting with water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and other restoration services. You'll be working directly in the field, helping property owners recover from water-related damage with professionalism, efficiency, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services Set up, monitor, and maintain equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums Perform demolition as needed (drywall removal, flooring removal, etc.) Maintain clean and organized job sites, tools, and equipment Document moisture readings, work performed, and site conditions Follow safety procedures and industry best practices Communicate effectively with crew leads, project managers, and customers Assist with loading and unloading materials and tools Be on call for emergency services, including evenings or weekends as scheduled
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments Comfort working in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, or basements Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and take direction Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in restoration, construction, or a labor-intensive field IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD) are a plus, but not required Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
