Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, flood, fire, and mold damage restoration projects. Conduct thorough assessments of affected areas, identifying water intrusion sources and damage extent. Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation using specialized equipment and techniques. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and Xactimate software to document damages and prepare detailed estimates. Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols, including PPE and respiratory protection requirements. Execute cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation following industry standards. Assist with fire restoration efforts including smoke damage cleanup and asbestos abatement when necessary. Follow strict safety procedures to protect yourself and others during all phases of restoration work. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety compliance for each project. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion and high customer satisfaction. Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is highly preferred; training provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques including flood recovery processes. Familiarity with mold remediation procedures and asbestos abatement is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, Xactimate software, and company vehicles safely. Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude during stressful situations. Willingness to be on-call for emergency response coverage outside regular hours. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed. Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
