$26.00-28.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

Performs rework and stamp pickups self-identified or written by Air Framer or customer during aircraft build.

Replaces and troubleshoots faulty electronic components and other damaged parts.

Adjusts misaligned panels and trim pieces and provides assistance to Air Framer seat installation team.

Submits accurate part order requests and understands POA and SOA processes at Air Framer and Safran.

Uses hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical repairs on aircraft seats.

Applies basic working knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings, and other technical documents for rework and repairs.

Troubleshoots electrical issues including testing voltage and continuity.

Performs rework adhering to Safran Seats drawings, specifications, and specific rework instructions.

Operates in confined aircraft cabin spaces including under-seat, sidewall, and overhead stowage areas.

Reads and interprets engineering drawings and instructions for seat installation and repairs.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

High School Diploma or equivalent is required (Associates degree in a related technical field is preferred).

At least 2 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs is required.

Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools is required.

Basic working knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings, and other technical documents is required.

Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office applications is required.

Valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a passport is required.

Hands-on electrical troubleshooting knowledge including testing voltage and continuity is desired.

Ability to work in confined aircraft cabin spaces and perform physical tasks including kneeling, crouching, bending, and reaching into restricted areas.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 lbs without assistance and occasionally handle heavier items with team or mechanical assistance is required.
