Job Description

A Service Technician with the Company will provide hands-on customer support in the field for equipment installation, troubleshooting, and rebuild projects. The role requires 60%+ travel, with home-base time split between two regional facilities when not on assignment. The Service Manager oversees technician support, and parts, equipment issues, and job details are communicated to the technician ahead of each assignment. Travel and project work are generally scheduled within standard business hours, though occasional after-hours work may be required and will be compensated accordingly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Rebuild components of custom automated equipment previously purchased by customers Support machine setup and installation, including units run and tested at the Company's facility Help customers diagnose and resolve equipment issues Complete service and expense documentation after each trip Assist customers with ordering replacement parts Partner with the Service Manager to identify parts and components needing replacement or upgrade Qualification Requirements Comfortable with basic math, including fractions and decimals Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus but not required Basic computer proficiency (CAD background helpful but not required) Able to interpret pneumatic and electrical schematics Minimum of four years' experience in automation equipment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability and willingness to travel frequently, including overnight trips Physical Demands and Abilities Capable of lifting up to 45 lbs, including from floor level to overhead Regular tasks may involve bending, reaching, lifting (from below waist height to above the head), walking or standing for long periods (potentially over extended distances), climbing stairs, stooping, and kneeling
Pay:
$86,200.00 - $127,450.00 per year
