In the role of Field Service Mechanic II at Mike's Westside Rental, you will apply your expertise to conduct maintenance and repairs on intricate equipment while ensuring safety and professionalism. Like all MWR team members, your commitment to delivering outstanding customer service will be essential to our clients.The job:
- The secure maintenance and repair of diverse complex rental machinery, encompassing electrical, diesel, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Travel to customer job sites for the repair and maintenance of rental equipment; it is essential to keep the service vehicle in a clean and professional condition.
- Ensure that all paperwork and electronic documentation related to work performed (work orders) is maintained accurately and promptly daily.
- Aid in the collection and delivery of parts and equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is necessary.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment and tools is essential.
- An advanced mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of tools are required.
- A robust mechanical knowledge of various engine types is mandatory.
- Candidates must possess the tools relevant to the position.
- Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and both verbal and written communication skills are essential.
