Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong understanding of various restoration processes including fire and water damage restoration.. This role requires a hands-on approach to restoring properties to their pre-damage condition while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. We offer a company vehicle for work related travel. Responsibilities Perform restoration tasks for properties affected by fire or water. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out restoration projects. Conduct thorough assessments of damaged areas to determine the extent of restoration needed. Execute water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes as part of water damage restoration. Implement water mitigation techniques in compliance with safety regulations. Assist with carpet cleaning and other related tasks as necessary. Follow all safety protocols during restoration work, including the proper handling of hazardous materials such as asbestos. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status and any necessary updates. Qualifications Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred. IICRC Certification in water damage restoration. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and restoration work. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations on-site. Neat appearance. A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.
