Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Field Service supervisor functions as the lead of a field service team and oversees technicians to ensure their work is performed effectively. The Supervisor is involved in team decisions, hiring, training, and is required to make sure the team follows all SOP's, KPI's and Lean Six Sigma programs.
JOB DUTIES
Develops and implements best practices and procedures to enhance business growth. Manages service personnel to ensure they meet customer's expectations and requirements. Ensures that every technician has the proper training and certifications to meet the needs of the job. Schedules service jobs and assigns personnel to specific jobs and duties. Ensures that service personnel are provided the proper equipment and tools needed to perform jobs correctly and safely. Ensures the service team adheres to all new SOP's, KPI's and Lean Six Sigma programs. Assists Manager and/or Account Specialist in customer surveys and is able to review jobs for quotes. Participates with Manager in hiring new Field Service Technicians. Tracks all training for each technician. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires an associate's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Specific knowledge of field service duties required Ability to work with the team in the field when the need arises Ability to maintain a positive attitude and productive, driven work ethic required Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skill required Ability to remain calm and clear-headed in an emergency required Good communication skills required Willingness and ability to drive company vehicles in alignment with Company policy required within one year of start date; DOT preferred. Must be in alignment with company drug free workplace and other required customer regulatory requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Push/pull up to 50 pounds Lift/carry up to 50 pounds Lift bulky objects Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, reach and lift, ladder climb and carrying/crawling. Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Excellent driving record preferred. All company vehicles are subject to continuous video monitoring.
