ABOUT FOUNTAIN FREEDOM

Fountain Freedom is our floating-fountain and aeration program, delivered as a subscription — Fountains-as-a-Service (FaaS). Customers never buy the equipment; we own it, monitor it remotely, and guarantee it: if a customer's fountain is down more than 7 days in a month, they don't pay for that month. "We keep water in the air, or you don't pay." That guarantee is only as good as the team that keeps it — which is where you come in.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Fountain Technician with Fountain Freedom, you'll be on the front lines delivering, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the floating fountains and aeration systems that keep our FaaS guarantee true. You'll operate equipment, install technology, and represent the PondMedics brand on-site with professionalism and care. You won't be behind a desk — you'll be in the field, putting your hands and skills to work. This is a role for someone who's reliable, teachable, and driven to do things the right way, every time. Techs who show that consistently have a real path here into our Field Lead seat — site leadership, safety and quality ownership, and the next level of responsibility on the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Install & Deliver:

Set up and install fountains, aerators, and related equipment with accuracy and efficiency

Troubleshoot & Maintain:

Diagnose and resolve fountain and control-panel issues in the field, keeping our uptime guarantee intact

Operate Equipment:

Safely and confidently use the tools and equipment the job requires

Keep Sites Clean:

Leave every project site better than you found it — clean, professional, and complete

Follow Instructions:

Execute job plans as directed by your

YOUR BACKGROUND

You're dependable, coachable, and not afraid of hard work. You're someone who shows up ready to get the job done — and do it well. Whether you're installing a fountain, troubleshooting a panel, or cleaning up a job site, you know every detail matters.

Ideal candidates will have:

Mechanical or electrical aptitude (experience with pumps, fountains, or water systems a plus) Basic construction, field work, or equipment repair experience Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license A commitment to safety and a clean work environment Strong communication and teamwork skills A willingness to follow direction and take pride in your work An eye toward growth — our Field Leads started right where you'd be starting

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Pay Range:

$22 - $38/hour, depending on experience
