Field Service Technician Opportunity We're looking for a Field Service Technician with a solid background in RF, two-way radio, wireless communications, and field service . This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working in the field, and finding practical solutions to technical challenges. What You'll Do Program and configure two-way radio systems Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz equipment Work with repeaters, base stations, dispatch systems, and other RF equipment Install and troubleshoot wireless systems, including DAS/BDA Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams Use test equipment such as service monitors, spectrum analyzers, wattmeters, TDRs, FDRs, and multimeters Work with basic IP networking and communications systems Help determine the appropriate equipment and hardware for specific applications Travel regionally as needed, including occasional overnight work Participate in on-call support as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience installing, programming, repairing, and troubleshooting two-way radio or wireless communications equipment . Experience with the following is a plus: Major two-way radio manufacturers RF theory and propagation Repeaters, duplexers, and multicouplers Battery backup systems DAS/BDA systems Electronics and communications systems Relevant industry certifications Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in the field are highly valued.
