Generator Technician (Min. 3 Years Experience) Porter, TX Kentech Power is a family-owned business with over 45 years of trusted service. We're looking for a skilled Generator Technician who takes pride in their work, values independence, and thrives in a team built on integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing, and start-ups on various name-brand generators. Work independently at customer locations for scheduled and emergency service calls Respond to after-hours service requests as needed Use basic computer, Excel and iPad skills to support service documentation and communication to record required documentation Communicate professionally with customers and represent our team with integrity

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of generator maintenance and repair experience Knowledge of commercial diesel and natural gas generators. Knowledge of Residential Generators Must be open and willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays as needed Ability to work independently in the field Basic computer and iPad proficiency Strong communication and customer service skills Valid State Driver's license and clean driving record Ability to adhere to strict start time of 7 a.m. Physical Requirements Must be able to work in Extreme Climate conditions: Hot, Cold, Humid, Windy Environments associated with working outdoors Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
