Borsight provides the following services:

Full Spectrum Weapons Systems Integration (Hardware, Software, & Operation Flight Program (OFP)); Full Spectrum Flight Test Support; Configuration Control / Management; Aircraft System Level Integration & Modification; OFP Integration, Development, and Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V); Software & Hardware Modification / Sustainment; Engineering and Technical Services, and Aircraft Modifications. Company emphasis is on the upgrade or modification of a broad range of legacy aircraft to include Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Law Enforcement aircraft. Borsight's Field Service Engineering Technicians (FSET) perform a diverse range of activities at Borsight proper, CONUS, and OCONUS locations. FSETs perform mission-critical tasks that demands technical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting U.S. Air Force operational capabilities. FSETs provide critical support for Borsight owned and program systems at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. FSETs prime role at Borsight proper supports production, aircraft modification and engineering. Activities include depot support that focuses on the needs of Borsight's programs that provide critical hardware and software repairs, testing, training, and help desk support. They may also work in Borsight's Systems Integration Lab (SIL) utilizing tools and methodologies to identify defects in the software and hardware that do not comply with the project or contract requirements. FSETs develop drawings both in 3D and 2D using SolidWorks. They identify products, wires, components, hardware, etc. to integrate into system designs. FSETs may also perform as primary trainers for TDL and RTIC systems providing support for Borsight contracts at a time and place directed by the USG. Training events and exercise support are located in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The FSET primary role outside of Borsight proper is to coach and assist units in the operation, maintenance, and system troubleshooting. They are primary trainers for TDL and RTIC systems providing support for Borsight contracts at a time and place directed by the USG, and support training events and exercise that are located in CONUS and OCONUS locations. Additionally, when organic resources are insufficient, FSETs perform hands-on field service tasks to meet mission and maintenance requirements. FSET positions sometimes require flexible work schedules that align with operational needs to include working weekends and overnight.

Qualifications:

FSETs must have 5-7 years of related experience in tactical data links and avionics, electrical, communication, and navigation experience. Advanced avionics or communications training from a technical trade or military technical school or commensurate general aviation experience is required. A Federal Communication Commission (FCC) License issued by the FAA is highly desired. Aircraft avionics experience with design, testing, and documentation, as well as aircraft system development and aircraft integration is also highly desired. Proven experience with CAD software SolidWorks, or similar designing mechanical assemblies using industry standard design principles for aeronautical environments is also highly desired.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform hardware and software test execution and operational support.
• Conduct system troubleshooting and repair at the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level.
• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Perform advanced and complex maintenance, modification, and repair functions both on and off aircraft.
• Install and integrate aircraft mechanical components, avionics racks, communication hardware, sensors, and antennas.
• Use specialized tools, ground support equipment, and test equipment in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidance, industry standards, and Government Technical Orders.
• Interpret USAF Technical Manuals, Publications, and Directives to determine appropriate repair, modification, or replacement methods.
• Inspect and certify completed maintenance actions performed by other technicians to ensure compliance with USAF standards and airworthiness requirements.
• Provide help desk and user support for system operations and maintenance.
• Perform technical updates including antivirus installations, patches, and software upgrades.
• Support cybersecurity compliance and protection efforts.
• Support system configuration management and technical compliance activities.
• Evaluate System Integration Lab (SIL) test results against expected outcomes and recommend process improvements.
• Draft and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate full system functionality.
• Develop and modify Technical Orders and Technical Compliance Technical Orders.
• Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical assembly and electrical harness drawings using SolidWorks.
• Serve as a liaison with mission planning cells, air operations centers, and other operational stakeholders.
• Interface with US Government representatives, customers, and program partners to identify, derive, and support technical requirements.
• Apply working knowledge of aircraft bus interfaces including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, serial, Ethernet, GPS, and audio.
• Support and troubleshoot DoD datalinks and networks such as ARC-210, ARC-231, PRC-117, SADL/EPLRS, Link 16, VORTEX, HPW, SWF, ANW2, and

INMARSAT.

• Develop and apply avionics and electrical skills supporting aircraft modification and fixed-wing system repairs.
• Provide CONUS and OCONUS field service support, including pre-planning, installation, on-site operations, teardown, and after-action report development.
• Coach and assist organic operators and maintainers in system operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, cybersecurity activities, and logistics support.
• Deliver On-the-Job Training (OJT) and formal user and maintainer training.
• Develop, revise, and maintain training materials to meet evolving mission and system needs.
• Support Training Readiness Reviews and generate post-training and operational reports.
• Experience using MS Office products including Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
• Serve as a CFT lead or technician at assigned locations, when designated.

Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to climb ladders, stoop, bend, be on your feet for extended periods of time, work in confined spaces, walk long distances, and lift and/or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. In addition, must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while reviewing documentation or working on a computer, as well as the ability to perform computer-based tasks such as reading, typing, and digital document review. Adequate vision is necessary to read printed and digital technical documents, with or without corrective lenses, and the role requires participation in both in‑person and virtual meetings.

Conditions of Employment:

All Borsight employees serve in positions that have access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified information, or are involved in national security, health or safety, or functions other than the foregoing require a high degree of trust and confidence. To that point, all Borsight employees are subject to random facility perimeter control efforts to deter and detect the introduction or removal of classified information from Borsight's secured facility. This policy and conspicuous signage posted throughout Borsight's facility serve as legal notice to all employees entering or exiting Borsight's facility are subject to inspection. Borsight's FSETs serve in critical positions that requires an USG security clearance. Must maintain a valid US passport with a minimum of two blank pages. All Borsight employees require a pre-employment drug screen and a background check and are also subject to random drug screening during the duration of their employment. CONUS and OCONUS travel is required and can be directed for short and long travel durations multiple times a year. OCONUS travel and work can be in austere and hazardous environments.
