Job Description

Total compensation range of $50,000
  • 80,000 per year (hourly + bonuses).
ServiceMaster Restore by AAA is a Disaster Restoration company looking for a trustworthy and motivated Lead Water/Fire Technician with a great attitude and strong work ethic. If a home or commercial building has been damaged by water, fire, or mold, our technicians come in to assess, clean-up, and restore the property and belongings back to normal.
Job Requirements:
  • Must have a professional appearance, great attitude.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, empathy, and the ability to guide homeowners through stressful property losses.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving violence or theft.
  • Because we provide 24-hour, 7 day a week emergency services, you must be willing to be on-call a week at a time as needed and work after hours on occasion
  • usually about 1-2 weeks per month.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
  • IICRC certified a plus but not required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to get hands dirty.
  • Some technical knowledge needed (computer, iPad).
  • Job management experience a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus but not required.
  • Experience with homeowner's insurance claims or adjusters is helpful but not required.
Common duties include:
  • Extracting water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment
  • Removing damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets and drywall
  • Responding to property losses and performing an initial assessment
  • Meeting with the homeowner to explain the mitigation plan, including selling/closing the mitigation work
  • Keeping detailed notes, photos, and paperwork in the software provided
  • Communicating job progress clearly to the property owner, insurance carrier, and the office
  • Other duties will include carpet cleaning, content cleaning, content packing/moving, mold mitigation, and fire cleanup and restoration.
