The Role:
As a Mitigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by fire, water, and other emergencies. Your responsibilities will include handling the mitigation and restoration process, making a significant impact on the lives of our clients during challenging times.Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the scope of damage Inspect and document property damage, including photos, notes, and diagrams Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification and hazardous clean-up according to IICRC standards Complete fire, smoke, and soot cleanup with precision and care Apply antimicrobial treatments and odor control measures as needed Communicate clearly with customers about the process and progress, providing professionalism and reassurance throughout the job Maintain accurate job records and update the Emergency Services Project Manager on job status Inspect, clean, and maintain tools and equipment Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, participating in ongoing safety and industry trainingQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one year of experience in the restoration industry IICRC certifications in water, fire, or mold are a plus Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions Valid driver's license and clean driving record required Willingness to work on-call for emergency response Strong communication and teamwork skillsWorking Conditions:
This role requires both indoor and outdoor work, often in varied weather conditions. Must be available to work on-call and respond to emergencies as needed. Exposure to conditions such as dust, fumes, and noise is common.Pay:
$20.00- $35.
