Overview- We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our restoration team. The Restoration Technician responds to emergency property damage situations and performs restoration services for water, fire, flood, mold, and other property damage incidents . This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to work in physically demanding environments, operate restoration equipment, interact professionally with customers, and follow strict safety procedures. The ideal candidate has previous restoration or construction experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and understands the importance of responding quickly and professionally when customers are experiencing property damage. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, flood, or storm-related damages, demonstrating emergency response readiness and on-call coverage. Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and debris removal using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Execute fire restoration procedures such as soot removal, smoke odor mitigation, and structural cleaning to restore properties efficiently. Conduct water damage restoration by extracting water, setting up drying equipment, and monitoring moisture levels to prevent mold growth. Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Apply industry-standard techniques for mold remediation, flood restoration, and asbestos abatement following strict safety protocols. Implement construction-related tasks when necessary, including minor repairs or structural modifications during the restoration process. Maintain clear communication with clients by providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns with professionalism and empathy. Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and personnel to and from job sites. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols including respiratory protection, PPE use, and hazard mitigation strategies. Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to fire damage, water damage, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally. Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods is essential.
