Water Mitigation Technician Summit Restoration - Leesburg, VA Full-Time | $22-$30/hour
About Us:
Summit Restoration is a local restoration company serving Northern Virginia. We specialize in water, fire, and storm damage restoration. We exist to be "peacemakers" and to bring a calming presence into chaotic situations. We're seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to water damage losses and lead mitigation efforts on site Assess water damage, set up and monitor drying equipment, document job progress Communicate professionally with materially interested parties, such as homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters Maintain and properly care for tools, equipment, and vehicles Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and company protocols
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and be on your feet for extended periods Valid driver's license & clean driving record Strong customer service and communication skills Availability for after-hours or weekend work as needed Professional water mitigation experience (preferred, but not required)
IICRC WRT
certification (preferred, but not required)
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay: $22-$30/hour Opportunities for advancement as the water mitigation division grows Supportive, team-oriented work environment Training and certification assistance available
