Overview Join our team as a Trainee Field Install Technician dedicated to delivering exceptional service in the medical industry. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining customers stairlifts, ramps, scooters, powerwheelchairs and various other medical devices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills while making a meaningful impact on patient care and safety. This is an entry level position with the potential to advance in the company. Responsibilities Install, test, and troubleshoot medical devices and related systems at healthcare facilities and private homes. Install stairlifts, ceiling hoyer lifts, and vertical platform lifts in private home settings. Deliver retail medical equipment to the customer. Provide on-site field service support by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal system performance. Maintain detailed documentation of installations, system configurations and service reports for compliance and future reference. Skills Mechanical aptitude with experience handling power tools, hand tools, and construction-related tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to coordinate with clients and team members effectively.
