Our work ranges from trauma and unattended-death cleanup to infectious disease decontamination, hoarder home restoration, homeless encampment cleanup, and other challenging environmental cleanup projects. We also provide trash-outs, eviction cleanups, parking lot sweeps, graffiti removal, post-construction cleaning, and demolition cleanup. Position:

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Technician to join our field team. Technicians perform a variety of cleanup and remediation services at residential, commercial, municipal, and other job sites. This position is hands-on and physically demanding, and no two days are exactly the same. You will work alongside Senior Technicians and Site Leads to safely complete jobs, maintain company standards, and provide professional service to clients during what can often be difficult or stressful circumstances. This position is a good fit for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands, able to follow procedures, and not afraid of challenging environments.

What You'll Do:

Biohazard & Specialty Cleanup Perform biohazard remediation and specialty cleaning services, including trauma scene cleanup, unattended-death cleanup, infectious disease decontamination, hoarder home restoration, and encampment cleanup. Perform trash-outs, eviction cleanups, parking lot sweeps, graffiti removal, post-construction cleaning, and demolition cleanup. Safely handle, package, transport, and dispose of biohazardous and non-hazardous materials. Set up and break down containment areas and workspaces as directed. Follow established procedures for cleaning, disinfection, decontamination, and waste handling.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Properly select, wear, and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE). Safely operate cleaning equipment, tools, and vehicles. Participate in required safety meetings, training, and continuing education. Immediately report safety concerns, injuries, exposures, equipment issues, or other incidents to management.

Job Documentation:

Take accurate before-and-after photos of job sites. Complete required job documentation, checklists, and reports accurately and on time. Document materials, tasks completed, and other job-related information as required.

Teamwork & Client Service:

Work closely with Senior Technicians, Site Leads, and Project Managers to complete jobs safely and efficiently. Follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members. Treat clients, property owners, tenants, law enforcement, and other stakeholders with professionalism, discretion, and compassion. Maintain confidentiality when working on sensitive or private projects. Communicate any client concerns or unexpected job-site conditions to the appropriate supervisor.

Equipment & Vehicle Care:

Clean, inspect, and properly store tools and equipment after each job. Maintain clean and organized work vehicles. Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment promptly.

What We're Looking For Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Reliable transportation to and from the company/shop and assigned job sites. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to travel throughout King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform physical work for extended periods. Ability to work in environments involving biohazardous materials, bodily fluids, strong odors, contaminated materials, cluttered or unsanitary conditions, and other potentially hazardous environments while wearing required PPE. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Employees are expected to participate in the company's 24/7 on-call rotation and must be available when assigned to on-call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pacific Northwest Bio operates 24/7, including all holidays. Employees may be scheduled for on-call coverage on holidays as part of the company's regular rotation. Must maintain reliable phone communication and remain reachable during assigned on-call periods. Preferred Previous experience in biohazard remediation, crime scene cleanup, environmental services, restoration, construction, demolition, janitorial services, or another physically demanding field. OSHA 10 certification.

HAZWOPER

certification. First Aid/CPR certification. Blood Born Pathogen certification. Experience working with PPE, hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, or specialty equipment.
