We are looking for someone who can lead mitigation work from emergency response through stabilization, direct technicians, communicate professionally with homeowners, and maintain complete project documentation. This position begins part-time, with the goal of transitioning into full-time as project volume increases. It offers a clear growth path toward Field Supervisor or Mitigation Manager. What You'll Do Respond to emergency and scheduled water-damage projects. Inspect affected areas, identify damaged materials, and help establish the mitigation scope and drying plan. Lead water extraction, selective demolition, containment, cleaning, and structural drying. Set up, monitor, adjust, and remove drying equipment. Perform moisture mapping and maintain accurate daily drying records. Complete photo and project documentation using Albi or similar restoration-management software . Direct technicians and monitor safety, workmanship, labor, equipment usage, and job-site organization. Communicate clearly with homeowners about the work process and project status. Coordinate project information with management, office staff, and insurance representatives. Identify scope changes, safety concerns, or project complications and communicate them promptly. Ensure each project is properly documented and ready for estimating and invoicing. Participate in occasional evening, weekend, and emergency-response work. Required Qualifications Professional water-mitigation or property-restoration experience. Current IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification . Working knowledge of water extraction, demolition, containment, structural drying, moisture measurement, and drying equipment. Ability to lead technicians and independently manage field activities. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to use smartphones, mobile applications, and digital documentation systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in crawlspaces and containment areas while wearing required PPE. Reliable, organized, accountable, and comfortable making field decisions. Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting initial water-damage inspections and developing mitigation scopes. Experience explaining recommendations and obtaining signed work authorizations from homeowners. Experience with Albi or similar restoration-management software . IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification. IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) certification. Bilingual English/Russian communication skills. Growth Opportunity The right candidate may gradually take responsibility for independently conducting initial inspections, presenting the recommended mitigation plan, obtaining signed work authorizations, and starting qualified projects without the owner being present. Xactimate estimating is not part of this position. Estimates are prepared separately, but the Lead Technician must understand the mitigation scope and be able to review an estimate for technical accuracy. What We Offer Starting pay of $27.00-$30.00 per hour , based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated ability. Compensation review after the initial performance period.
