We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician, where you will gain hands-on expertise in maintaining and repairing advanced manufacturing equipment. This role is perfect for those with a strong mechanical background who are eager to transition into a specialized technical career. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues on industrial CNC systems. Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure peak equipment performance and longevity. Assist senior engineers with the installation and configuration of high-precision machine tools. Provide technical guidance and operational training to customers to improve their equipment utilization. Document service activities and technical findings to maintain accurate maintenance logs. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot unique equipment failures in the field. Represent our service standards through professional and ethical customer interactions. Take ownership of assigned service cases to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Required Skills Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on technical work. Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting. Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse customer bases. Ability to travel regionally to support various manufacturing sites. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Preferred Skills Prior experience in automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance. Familiarity with mechatronics or electrical control systems. Background in CNC machine operation or setup. Experience in military technical or mechanical roles.
