JBT MAREL CORPORATION
is responsible for providing expert on-site technical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of
JBT MAREL
equipment at customer locations. This role ensures optimal performance and customer satisfaction through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and training. Candidates for this position need to reside near the Stratford, WI area. On a given day, you man:
  • Perform installation, commissioning, and validation of
JBT MAREL
equipment at customer sites.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and calibrations to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues on
JBT MAREL
machinery.
  • Execute repairs, replace faulty components, and adjust equipment settings to restore full functionality.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to customer personnel on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
  • Document all service activities, including detailed reports of work performed, parts used, and time spent.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal support departments to resolve issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as customer site regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory of spare parts in the service vehicle.
  • Travel extensively to various customer locations, often with short notice, including overnight stays.
Job Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a field service role, preferably with industrial machinery or food processing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical control systems, PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), and industrial networking.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in challenging environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various industrial settings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including internationally, often on short notice.
