Holiday Lighting Warehouse & Prep Team Member Birmingham Christmas Lights LLC Birmingham Christmas Lights is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented person to join our Warehouse & Prep Team for the upcoming Christmas season. This is a hands-on position focused on preparing materials, organizing inventory, and making sure our installation crews have everything they need before they leave for a customer's property. What You'll Do Prep Christmas lights and holiday decorations for upcoming installations Build Christmas light strands by installing/screwing in bulbs Inspect lights and decorations to make sure everything is built correctly and meets our quality standards Pull and organize materials needed for each installation Stage materials so they are ready for installers to pick up Organize and maintain warehouse inventory Keep track of materials and notify management when supplies are running low Check returned materials and equipment Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient Assist with loading materials for installation crews Follow job preparation lists and make sure everything is ready before the crew leaves Flexible Schedule $17/hour We offer a flexible schedule . You can generally choose when you work between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM , based on the workload and your availability. Hours will vary throughout the season, with the most work available during our peak Christmas installation season. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is reliable and dependable Has excellent attention to detail Is organized and takes pride in their work Can work independently without constant supervision Is comfortable with hands-on and repetitive work Can follow instructions and checklists Takes ownership of their responsibilities Understands that small mistakes can create major problems for an installation crew Previous warehouse, construction, electrical, Christmas lighting, or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person. The Goal Our installers should be able to show up, grab their materials, and head straight to the customer's house knowing everything they need is ready to go.
