Job Description

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Handyman to join our maintenance team part-time. You'll handle everyday repairs and seasonal pool care across our residential and commercial properties in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. If you like variety, working with your hands, and a schedule that doesn't lock you into 40 hours a week, this one's worth a look. About Us GIM Property Management is a family-founded, family-owned company serving HOA boards, condo associations, rental owners, and commercial investors across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We treat every property like it's our own — that means repairs done right the first time, and a team that takes pride in the work, not just the paycheck. Duties Handle everyday repairs (patching, painting, fixture replacement, basic carpentry) across multiple company owned/managed properties Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues before they turn into bigger problems Handle seasonal work like snow shoveling, de-icing, and landscaping Keep accurate chemical and maintenance logs for each property Take care of pool maintenance during the season: testing and balancing water chemistry, cleaning filters and skimmers, brushing, vacuuming, and keeping equipment running Qualifications 1+ years of hands-on repair, maintenance, or handyman experience Comfortable with basic hand tools and power equipment; open to learning pool care if you haven't done it before Able to read, write, and speak English fluently as you will be talking with residents, vendors, and the team, and following written safety instructions on-site A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, you will be moving between properties Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle standing, kneeling, and climbing throughout the day Available for a flexible part-time schedule, with added coverage needed May-September for pool season Nice to Have Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification, or willingness to get certified Experience working across more than one property or site OSHA 10 or a similar trade certification
Pay:
$22.82 - $26.09 per hour
