Charles & Alice is a leading producer and co-packer of applesauce and other natural fruit-based products. We are seeking a skilled and ambitious part-time Building Maintenance Technician for our food manufacturing plant in Lancaster, PA. The hours are somewhat flexible (must fall in Monday to Friday day shift time frame), but we are looking at between 15 and 20 hours per week. Competitive pay rate. No benefits.

• Replace/repair gaps & weather stripping on man doors
• Replace/repair gaps & brushes on overhead doors
• Scraping peeling paint on walls and floors
• Painting walls and floors
• Fixing doors that don't close properly
• Repairing bird holes on outside walls
• Replacement of strip curtains
• Sealing windows
• Building and replacing racking (bent racking in coolers)
• Fixing downspouts
• Repairing leaking hoses
• Hanging items on wall - document holders, utensil racks
• Unclogging sinks
• Practice and promote positive employee relations and teamwork.
• Work safely and follow all safety and other Company policies.
• Ensure proper operation and take good care of Company tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Building maintenance skills
• Knowledge of general plumbing and carpentry
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Several years of building maintenance experience preferred
• Reading and communicating with others
• Safety knowledge and focus
• Teamwork
