Job Description
A large heavy equipment fleet is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Blytheville, AR to maintain and repair diverse machinery. Duties & Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance and repairs on excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and similar heavy equipment. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems. Use schematics, technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and testing procedures to identify issues and confirm repairs. Complete welding, soldering, and fabrication projects to repair or modify equipment. Perform inspections, tire service, alignments, heavy lifting, and related mechanical work to keep equipment operational. Follow safe work practices and clearly communicate repair needs and maintenance updates to internal teams and external clients.
