Forklift Mechanic /

Technician Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $17.00 to $22.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00am) The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts and material-handling equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, including tune-ups, fluid checks, battery service, and parts replacement. Inspect brakes, steering, lifting mechanisms, safety devices, and other critical components. Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems and hydraulic systems. Complete service work orders and accurately document repairs, parts used, and equipment hour-meter readings. Maintain service vehicle inventory and ensure necessary parts and tools are available. Communicate equipment issues and repair recommendations to customers and management. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Respond to service calls and perform repairs at customer locations as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Forklift Mechanic /

Technician Qualifications:

Ability to provide basic personal hand tools. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests. Ability to lift and handle heavy parts and equipment. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods. Ability to work in warehouses, outdoor environments, and varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate and work around industrial equipment.
