Position Summary Rental Guys in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a dependable Equipment Service Technician / Yard Associate to join our weekday team. This hands-on role involves inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental equipment, loading and unloading customers and delivery trucks, and keeping the facility clean and organized. Responsibilities Inspect, clean, and perform basic service on rental equipment (fuel, oil, filters, tires, etc.) Load and unload customer vehicles and company delivery trucks safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and facility Assist customers with equipment check-in and check-out Perform basic operational checks to ensure equipment is rent-ready Identify and tag damaged or unsafe equipment for repair Support drivers and mechanics with yard and shop operations as needed Requirements Prior experience in equipment service, yard operations, or a related field preferred Basic mechanical knowledge of construction or landscaping equipment Ability to operate forklifts, skid steers, or similar machinery (training available if needed) Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-service oriented Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions Valid driver's license required Benefits Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends) Competitive hourly pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) Paid time off and holiday pay Opportunities for training and advancement Supportive, locally owned team environment To learn more about the company view https://youtu.be/b9hfM1
