Job Description

Independent Contractor:
Technician for Electrical Assembly/Inspection •
Work Location:
Mojave, CA•
Compensation:
Starting $25.00 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor)
Schedule:
7 AM - 3:30 PM (Schedule may vary based on site conditions & project requirements) Position Summary We are seeking an "
EXPERIENCED
" Electrical Technician (Independent Contractor) to assist with the assembly and inspection of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) battery modules on a fast-paced manufacturing line.
Key Responsibilities :
A Lead Role is a blend of high-level technical expertise and project management.
Technical Oversight:
Acting as the "final word" on complex troubleshooting, interpreting intricate schematics, and ensuring all work meets NEC (National Electrical Code) or local standards.
Team Supervision:
Assigning daily tasks to journeymen and apprentices, monitoring progress, and providing on-the-job training.
Safety Leadership:
Enforcing LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and ensuring the team is using proper PPE. You are the primary guardian against arc flash and other workplace hazards.
Project Coordination:
Interfacing with project managers or clients to report on milestones, managing material inventory, and estimating labor hours. Nice to

Forklift & Scissor Lift Operation Certification (or experience) ​ OSHA 10 or
NFPA 70E
Certificate (can obtain after hire) Experience in
Electrical-Related or Construction Fields General Requirements:
Must possess a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card . Must pass all screening steps, including E-Verify/I-9 verification, Drug Test, and Background Check.

Independent Contractor Future Opportunities:
Upon successful completion of this project, opportunities for long-term, traveling maintenance work may be available for interested contractors. ETS has other opportunities for successful candidates who may be interested in Traveling.

Work Schedule:
7 AM - 3:30 PM (Schedule may vary based on site conditions & project requirements) Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Contractor must provide their own Steel-Toed Boots, Gloves, Hard Hat, Vest, and preferably FR pants.
