compliance across every work zone. Position Overview The Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and organization of our fleet. This role is essential in supporting field operations by ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, safe, reliable, and readily available for daily use. The Mechanic helps minimize downtime and maximize productivity by keeping tools and machinery in excellent working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose vehicles and equipment based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the driver or operator. Diagnose and replace broken or defective parts. R&R heavy duty items such as engines and transmissions Conduct preventative maintenance on vehicles as requested. Maintain accurate, updated records of preventive maintenance. Ensure work area and methods used in carrying out job duties meet safety requirements. Maintain an organized and neat work area. Complete full safety and operation of vehicles prior to being released. Assemble mechanical components according to specifications. Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred. Minimum of 4-5+ years mechanical experience in automotive industry. In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems. Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Requirements:
Must pass drug test & physical for employment. Clean Background Check Mandatory. Must have valid United States driver's license. Must be able to travel in the Northern California area (may require overnight stays for emergency needs outside of these areas).
Work Environment:
Ability to life heavy objects (up to 50lbs) Work in different temperatures throughout the year
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
