Job Description

Join Our Team as a Heavy Equipment / Yellow Iron Mechanic! 📍

Location:

Heart of Florida Landfill - Lake Panasoffkee, FL 🕡

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | Saturdays as needed 💰

Pay:

$35-$45 hour

DOE What You'll Do:

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment. Diagnose and fix electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems. Work with a fleet of yellow iron equipment including compactors, dozers, excavators, motor graders, water trucks, and articulated dump trucks. Operate bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, and scrapers. (Compactor experience is a plus!) Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and yellow iron equipment. Ability to read, write, and communicate technical service information. CDL preferred (but not required at time of hire). Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions. Why Join Us?
