Requirements Key Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment supporting Navy/DoD operations Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on machinery and mechanical components Troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation Assist engineers with system testing, integration, and evaluation efforts Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively Document maintenance activities, test results, and system performance Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards Support field operations, including occasional travel and on-site support as required Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (Technical certification or Associate degree preferred) 2-5+ years of mechanical technician experience (military or defense experience a plus) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Hands-on experience with tools, calibration, and testing equipment Ability to work independently and in a team environment U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting the U.S. Navy or DoD programs Familiarity with maritime, diving, or expeditionary systems Experience with corrosion control and maintenance in marine environments OSHA safety training or similar certifications Active DoD Security Clearance Desired Skills/Other Considerations EPS Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
