You will leverage your expertise in hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and maximize the performance of our clients' fleets in the field. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures on articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and heavy-duty trailers. Execute proactive preventive maintenance schedules and conduct rigorous annual safety inspections to ensure full regulatory compliance. Deliver rapid-response troubleshooting for emergency equipment failures to restore client productivity during critical operations. Translate technical findings into clear, actionable reports for fleet managers, ensuring transparency regarding repair needs and equipment status. Manage end-to-end service documentation, including accurate parts procurement, labor tracking, and work order authorization. Uphold the highest standards of safety and site cleanliness while operating independently in diverse field environments. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, specifically with cranes or material handling systems. Advanced proficiency in hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 75+ lbs and working in varied weather conditions. Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days. Strong technical documentation skills and basic computer literacy for service reporting. Preferred Skills Formal training or certification in heavy equipment repair or diesel mechanics. Experience with welding and structural metal repair. Proven ability to manage independent field service routes and customer relationships.
