  • What will you do in a typical day?
Performing various maintenance and repairs on a wide array of municipal equipment. Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all specialized heavy-duty components. (On the job training will be provided on specialized equipment.) Coordinating and installing custom equipment on new and used refuse trucks Evaluate and refurbish used truck trade-ins Perform DOT inspections What would make you a good fit? Mechanic experience, required Heavy equipment mechanic experience a plus Hydraulic and electrical experience Strong welding skills are a plus Class B CDL license or the ability to obtain Self-motivated, willing to take initiative Willingness to expand your knowledge Must have your own general tools As part of our application process, all applicants must have a valid drivers license.
