Essential Functions:

Must effectively use a variety of hand tools and power tools. Must be able to operate lifting devices including overhead hoist, electric parts picker, electric narrow aisle lift, and propane lift truck. Responsible for checking parts and wholegoods orders to ensure accuracy and quality prior to completion of order. Must be able to assemble parts into a complete subassembly. Must be constantly alert to potential hazards and keep a safety awareness attitude. Must work well with other people. Must communicate well with co-workers and other departments. Must be able to work in hot or cold conditions, indoors and outdoors. Must have some clerical skills; reading part numbers, recording serial numbers, counting inventory, typing labels and entering information into a computer terminal. Must be able to assist in loading and unloading trailers and tie or strap loads onto trucks and trailers, as needed. May be responsible for the safe transport of finished tractors to the Transportation department from the Assembly Department.
