We're seeking a motivated Technician 1 to join our team! If you enjoy working with computers and electronics, learning new skills, and being part of a team that gets things done, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We provide comprehensive training, and when combined with your expertise, will help us all grow!
What You'll Do:
Dive into the
Tech:
Process, refurbish, and harvest parts from various types of equipment, including but not limited to laptops, PCs, and mobile devices - swapping hard drives, memory, power supplies, and more. Secure the
Data:
Perform device erasure, hard resets, and updates across a range of hardware including laptops, cellphones, Mac, Android, and Windows devices.
Maximize Reuse:
Test and recover valuable components for reuse, and assess the physical and functional condition of products using our software tools.
Keep Things Organized:
Accurately enter equipment details into our in-house database, and receive, sort, and move inventory as needed.
Learn and Grow:
Master our processes and procedures, with ample opportunity for skill development. Be a
Team Player:
Hit your quota/goal targets and tackle other tasks as assigned, contributing to our team's success.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of different types of hard drives and memory (preferred). Job-related certificates or experience (a plus!). A security-conscious mindset - you'll be trusted with sensitive data and devices. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while following oral and written instructions. Flexibility to adapt to changing processes for different clients or projects. Capable of regularly lifting up to 35 pounds and standing or sitting for extended periods. Ability to use hand tools for light disassembly. Experience working in a warehouse setting and moving products with a manual pallet jack. Great communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Bilingual (English and Spanish) (a plus!). Willingness to complete a security clearance if assigned to the mobile device processing area.
