Kubota Service Technician Job Summary Shelton Outdoor Power is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Kubota Service Technician to join our Service Department. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Kubota equipment, including tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, and other outdoor power and agricultural equipment. The Kubota Service Technician will use mechanical knowledge, diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications to accurately identify and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing quality workmanship and exceptional service to our customers. Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Kubota equipment, including tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, and related equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools. Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative service according to manufacturer specifications and Shelton Outdoor Power procedures. Repair and replace engines, mechanical components, electrical systems, hydraulic components, brakes, steering, and other equipment systems as needed. Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and specialized service equipment safely and effectively. Read and interpret manufacturer service manuals, technical information, wiring diagrams, schematics, and repair procedures. Accurately diagnose equipment concerns and determine the repairs, services, and parts needed. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail. Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, parts used, and recommended services. Inspect completed repairs to ensure equipment is operating properly and safely before being returned to the customer. Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate recommendations through the appropriate service process. Safely lift, move, and handle heavy equipment, parts, and components using proper equipment and safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all Shelton Outdoor Power safety policies and procedures. Work closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Parts Department, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service. Participate in Kubota manufacturer training and continuing education as required. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience as a Kubota Technician, Agricultural Equipment Technician, Diesel Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Automotive Technician, or related mechanical service professional is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and experience diagnosing and repairing engines, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic components. Experience working on tractors, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, utility vehicles, mowers, or similar equipment is preferred. Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems. Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and specialized service equipment. Ability to read and follow manufacturer service manuals, technical information, wiring diagrams, schematics, and repair procedures. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy equipment, parts, and components. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate equipment concerns and repair needs. Kubota certifications or previous dealership experience are a plus but not required. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development. Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
