Job Description
Maestranzi Bros. is seeking a reliable and experienced Full-Time Mechanic to join our team in Beverly, Massachusetts. Competitive pay - $25 - $30 + per hour. We are looking for a hands-on mechanic who takes pride in their work and can diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of small engine equipment, including lawn mowers and snow blowers. This is a full-time position with a well-established local company and is ideal for someone who is dependable, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working independently. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and equipment issues Perform routine preventative maintenance and scheduled service Troubleshoot engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, and other mechanical components Repair and maintain small engines and outdoor power equipment Perform equipment inspections and identify needed repairs Order or identify necessary parts for repairs Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe Ensure equipment is repaired properly and ready for customer use Communicate clearly with management regarding repair status and parts needs Qualifications Previous professional mechanic or equipment repair experience preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with small engines, outdoor power equipment, or similar equipment is a plus Ability to work independently and efficiently Must have your own basic mechanic's tools Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Valid driver's license Ability to safely lift and handle equipment and parts as required What We Offer Full-time, year-round employment Competitive pay - $25 - $30 + per hour Consistent work schedule Stable position with an established local company Opportunities to expand your mechanical knowledge and skills Supportive, team-oriented work environment About Maestranzi Bros.
