Duties Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment such as excavators, cranes, bulldozers, and loaders using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and schematics Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, brake repairs, and hydraulic system checks to prevent breakdowns Conduct electrical diagnostics on systems including wiring, sensors, starters, alternators, and electrical components to identify faults accurately Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair or customization requirements Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving transmissions, suspensions, air brakes, HVAC systems, and diesel engines to restore equipment functionality Maintain detailed service records for each piece of equipment serviced or repaired for compliance and future reference Operate heavy machinery safely during testing phases to ensure repairs meet operational standards Requirements Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Service Technician with dealership experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance, diesel engine diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for automotive and electrical troubleshooting along with power tools and welding equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Familiarity with OEM parts catalogs, fabrication techniques, and equipment assembly processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members Valid certifications in diesel engine repair, air brake systems, HVAC systems, or related fields are advantageous Join us in keeping our fleet of heavy machinery operating at peak performance!
