Duties Assist senior mechanics with the inspection, repair, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and bulldozers Support electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on various machinery systems including hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Prepare and use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic schematics to perform repairs and assembly tasks Conduct routine inspections of fleet, machinery, industrial equipment, and construction machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate Help with tire service, heavy lifting operations, equipment cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules to support ongoing equipment reliability Requirements Previous experience working with dealership or industrial equipment is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity in fabrication, welding, schematics reading, and equipment troubleshooting Hands-on experience with heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or tractors-trailers is a strong plus Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and brake repair techniques Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with welding or soldering is advantageous Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly; comfortable working in outdoor or construction environments Valid driver's license with experience operating heavy equipment preferred; certification in forklift operation or related machinery is a bonus Join us to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in heavy equipment maintenance!
