Caterpillar Responsibilities:

Diagnose, rebuild, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems of heavy operating equipment. Perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and tools while using a high degree of independent judgement. Accurately order needed parts from vendors. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance. Prepares and maintains records and reports. Extensive knowledge of construction or heavy equipment and advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams. Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.

Required Qualifications:

5 years of experience CDL Class A license required Must be 18 years of age or older Flexibility of working hours and location (shop and field repairs) Reliable transportation Excellent communication skills Be a team player with a professional attitude
