Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Golf Course Mechanic to keep our golf course equipment in top condition and ensure smooth operations across the course. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of machinery, including mowers, utility vehicles, and other specialized golf course equipment. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of course quality and safety, providing an excellent experience for our members and guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on golf course machinery such as mowers, aerators, and utility vehicles Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes efficiently Repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and other mechanical parts with precision Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs effectively Maintain detailed service records for all equipment maintenance and repairs performed Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan Collaborate with course staff to schedule repairs around operational needs while ensuring safety standards are met Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or equipment repair Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic components Experience reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting safety procedures Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is a plus Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and vendors Ability to perform vehicle maintenance on various types of golf course machinery efficiently and safely Join us as a Golf Course Mechanic to bring your expertise into a vibrant environment where your skills directly impact the quality of our course! $23.54 - $28.35 per hour
