Mechanical Shop Assistant / Repair Technician/ Part-time Both are part time contract positions

Shop Hours:
6:00 AM - 7:00 PM We are looking for two dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our growing machine shop. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical problems, and learning new skills, we'd like to meet you. You'll work alongside an experienced technician helping with repairs, rebuilding mechanical equipment, and general shop operations. This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to learn new skills in a friendly, family-owned shop. Responsibilities Wash and clean machine parts Assist with the teardown and reassembly of mechanical components Help repair and rebuild industrial machinery Troubleshoot mechanical equipment alongside an experienced technician Use hand tools and shop equipment safely Organize parts, tools, and work areas Help keep the shop clean and organized Perform other general shop duties as needed Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn Experience with automotive, diesel, industrial maintenance, machine assembly, equipment repair, HVAC, agricultural equipment, manufacturing, or similar mechanical work is a plus Comfortable using hand and power tools Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work Works well as part of a small team Able to lift up to 50 pounds What We Offer Two part-time independant contractor openings Monday through Friday Flexible scheduling within shop hours Competitive pay based on experience A clean, family-owned work environment Opportunity to learn specialized mechanical repair skills Veterans with mechanical experience are also encouraged to apply.
